Job Description:
Is responsible for developing plans for achieving facility's maintenance, operation, repair and related services quality; monitoring, maintenance, operation and repair activities to prevent defects and to verify adherence to quality plans; and analyzing adverse quality trends and initiating corrective action.
Plans and schedules periodic surveys or audits of repair, emergency and routine maintenance, and provides quality control (QC) advice and guidance to the Project Manager and field technicians engaged in a full range of maintenance and operations functions.
Analyzes quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends.
Recommends to Project Manager of specific techniques, methods and procedures to eliminate or control QC shortcomings detected through various reporting systems or identified in surveys and audits.
Must be able to read and understand contract, design, sketches, and maintenance construction standards.
Provides a report detailing total system operational time, time spent on repairs, maintenance schedule and maintenance status.
Investigates and analyzes customer complaints and associated QC deficiencies to determine origin, causes, and contributing elements, and prepares written evaluation reports concerning findings.
Reports typically contain graphs, charts, and recommendations for changes in operating procedures.
Serves as Safety Coordinator, with responsibility for developing an overall safety plan, conducting safety training, holding safety review meetings, ensuring that supervisors carry out their individual safety responsibilities, and monitoring various safety activities and reports.
Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Quality Control Inspector of the trades of low voltage wiring and/or electronics repair.
Must possess or be able to obtain ICIDS Hardware and Callistoview certifications by DAQ Must possess or be able to obtain OSHA 30 Certification.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Job Type:
